Biomass
If your project involves the use or conversion of a poorly insulated building (for example something with solid granite walls) then biomass might well be the system you should consider.
We offer biomass boilers running on either logs or pellets:
Logs
Obviously these kinds of boiler really come into their own if there's easy access to abundant free or very cheap logs. Many see the labour involved as a drawback to this kind of system, although for the most part our version requires only that logs be stacked into the boiler.
Pellets
These boilers tend to be the most popular of this type. Compared with oil based systems their running costs are lower and they're carbon neutral, too.
Pellets offer an easy and controllable way of using wood; clearly the quantities required will vary widely, according to the size of the development, and pellets can be delivered in amounts and at intervals which best suit the system's demands.
