System Options

We offer a wide range of PV systems to suit your requierments.

Systems consist of three major components; panels, frame & inverter.

Panel Options

There are various types of panel available.  The two most common are Crystalline & Hybrid.

We offer a range of panels of various sizes from:

Manufacturer Size Colour Type
Suntech 190W, 250W silver frame, white backing mono-crystalline
Sanyo 240W, 250W, 235W black frame hybrid
Sharp 185W silver frame, white backing mono-crystalline
Solar Century 185W black frame & backing mono-crystaline

Frame Options

  • K2 (standard frame)

K2 is a high quality conventional PV mounting system.

  • Sol-50 (premium frame)

The sol-50 mounting system provides the neatest possible finish to a PV system bringing great aesthetic qualities to your array.  Sol-5o is available in grey or black finishes.

Inverter Options

  • SMA (string inverter)

We use SMA inverters, manufacture in Germany.  Design software is used to ensure that the correct inverter, which allows for maximum system efficiency is selected for your system.

Most of the SMA inverter range has in-built bluetooth with data logging facilities.  This allows for access to system performance data via a PC.  Many of the inverters contain a graphical display for simple monitoring of your PV system.

  • Enecsys (micro inverters)

In situations where the panel array will be subject to partial shading at certain times of the day (for example a shadow from a chimney or tree) then micro inverters help maximise your generation.

String inverters require that all the panels wired in series are out of shade in order to work effectively.  If one of the panels in the string is in shade, then this brings down the output of the whole system.  Micro inverters prevent this problem.  With this type each panel has its own inverter, and therefore if one panel is in shade it does not affect the output of those that are in the sun.
