Wind Planning Services
We have a specialist in house planning and grid connection team to produce and submit a wind turbine planning application and grid connection for your project. These are essential tasks and we have plenty of successful projects.
Our knowledgeable and experienced team will advise on the best location for your turbine from both a performance and planning perspective to improve the likelihood of a successful application.
We have in-house expertise using: WindFarm software for photomontages and Zones of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV’s); MapInfor(GIS software) for constraint mapping and wind turbine feasibility studies. Our planning documents meet the latest industry guidelines.
We make sure you have everything you need to submit a great planning application and receive grid connection approval for your project. We will guide you through every step of the process
Had planning refused?
In a number of cases, Capture’s planning team have taken on sites that have had planning for a turbine refused. We have assessed the site, in some cases re-sited and/or altered the turbine size or type or simply produced more reports for the planning application, as deemed necessary by the Local Planning Authority. A site like this was taken on by Capture in August 2012, an Endurance 55kW turbine is now installed at this site (as of 26th November 2012).
