We offer three sizes of wind turbine, with various tower height options. All our turbines are freestanding. Wind turbines are manufactured in Scotland by Proven Energy. As downwind turbines they have a unique patented blade mechanism which means they keep producing in high wind speeds ­ when other wind turbines would cut out.

Proven WT2500: This wind turbine requires a single phase supply and is available on either a 6m or 11m tower. The 2.5kW wind turbine is designed for small applications to provide a contribution towards a household’s electricity consumption. Average estimated output is between 2000kWh and 3500kWh per year.

Proven WT6000: This 6kW model is our most popular size of wind turbine; it will work with either a single or three phase supply and is ideal for homeowners with land, businesses, schools and farmers. The WT600 is available with 9m or 15m tower options. This wind turbine has the potential to produce more electricity than a domestic house requires, with the potential for export, with average estimated annual production being between 7000kWh & 12000kWh.

ProvenWT15000: The largest wind turbine in the Proven range requires a three phase supply and is suitable for commercial customers such as Dairy farmers. This three-phase wind turbine will produce a significant amount of electricity, with the potential for export, average annual output being estimated at 25000-35000kWh. 15m or 25m towers are available.
